What the website is for

The website explains what Adaptiv AI does and lets businesses contact us, book a discovery call, read our articles and subscribe to our newsletter. It is intended for businesses and people acting for them.

Information on the website

The articles, guides and other content on the website are general information. They are not professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your situation, and you should not rely on them as such. We work to keep the content accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is complete or up to date.

Nothing on the website is an offer to provide services. Our services are provided only under a written agreement signed by both parties, which sets out the scope, price and terms. If anything on the website conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement prevails.

Discovery calls and scoping sessions

Discovery calls and scoping sessions booked through the website are free and carry no obligation on either side. Any proposal, scope or price band we give you is not binding until both parties sign a written agreement.

Using the website properly

• use the website in any way that breaks the law, including the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015 as amended;

• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any system connected to it, or test its security without our written permission;

• interfere with the website's operation, for example by introducing malicious code or overloading it;

• copy or collect content from the website by automated means in a way that harms its operation, or for building a competing product;

• submit false, misleading, offensive or unlawful content through any form or comment; or

• impersonate anyone, or submit someone else's personal information without their permission.

We may suspend access to the website, or remove content you submitted, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

Information you send us

When you send us information through the website, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are entitled to share it, including on behalf of your company. You allow us to use it to respond to you and as described in our Privacy Policy.

Blog comments may be moderated and published. Please do not include confidential information in a comment.

Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs and software, belong to Adaptiv AI or to those who have licensed them to us, and are protected by the Copyright Act 2022 and other laws. You may view the website and share links to it, and you may quote short extracts from our articles with a link back to the original. Any other use, including copying, adapting or republishing content, needs our written permission.

"Adaptiv AI" and our logos are our trade names and marks. You may not use them in a way that suggests a connection with us or our endorsement without our written permission.

Links to other websites

The website may link to websites run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Availability

We aim to keep the website available, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

• we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content, or from relying on it; and

• we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data.

Work we do for clients is governed by the liability terms of the signed agreement, not by these terms.

Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Cookie Policy explains the cookies we use and how to control them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you in good faith. If that fails, either of us may refer it to mediation at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. If mediation does not resolve it within 30 days, the courts of Lagos State will have jurisdiction.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
